Obama asks for our ?personal participation.? Why doesn?t he meet with the leaders of consumer, worker and poverty groups in the White House with the frequency with which he meets with the CEOs of giant corporations who backed him to be their man.

High unemployment punishes the future. In the face of a depressed economy, businesses have slashed investment spending ? both spending on plant and equipment and ?intangible? investments in such things as product development and worker training.

The corporate media is now making the connection that millions of us have already made, namely, that a criminal gang of rich white guys in New York did some extremely reckless things with the nation's collective wealth and the workers got clobbered.
